DermaWave™ Ultrasonic/Electrotherapy System is a major advance in skin rejuvenation and repair. DermaWave also assists with hyperpigmentation via ultrasound’s enhanced penetration of ‘active’ topicals for a new method of treating this difficult to resolve condition.DermaWave ultrasound may also be delivered with a specially designed electrotherapy waveform to stimulate blood flow to desired areas of tissue. Increases in blood flow deliver vital supplies of oxygen and nutrients, removal of waste products and proliferation of fibroblasts for production of new collagen.

 

DermaWave may also be used as adjunctive therapy with any IPL or laser procedure to create an effective treatment ‘cocktail’ that enhances patient satisfaction.DermaWave is specifically designed for medical aesthetics and offers three frequencies – 1, 2 and 3 MHz. This means it may be used for pre, intra and post surgical applications, facial treatments and for scar revision in more superficial tissue.
